1. Privacy Policy

1.1 Collection of personal data: When making a reservation, we collect only the personal data necessary to provide the service. The information collected is stored on a secure server and is not shared with third parties, unless legally required.
1.2 Use of personal data: The personal data provided are used exclusively to facilitate the parking service. We may contact customers for service-related communication, such as reservation confirmations or changes.
1.3 Data retention period: Personal data are retained as long as necessary to provide the requested services.
1.4 Data security: We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access or disclosure.
1.5 Cookie policy: Our website uses cookies to improve the user experience. Customers can disable these cookies in their browser settings.

 

2. Cancellation Policy for the Parking Service

2.1 Cancellation conditions:
2.1.1 Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time.
2.1.2 For cancellations within 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, 20% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

2.2 Cancellation process: Cancellations must be submitted by email to reservations@taxizaventem.be. This is the only valid cancellation method.
2.3 Refunds: Refunds are processed within 10 business days after receipt of the cancellation. The refundable amount excludes the cancellation percentage as set out in paragraph 1b.
2.4 No-show: If customers do not arrive at the scheduled departure time without prior notice, the full reservation amount will be charged.
2.5 Force majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, etc., the parking service may review the cancellation policy and act flexibly on reasonable grounds. Valid proof may be requested.

 

3. Liability and Changes

3.1 Liability regarding vehicles: We park vehicles in our private car parks. In the event of theft, we point out that we are not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles. Customers are advised to remove valuables from the vehicle and lock it properly. We are in no case liable for acts of third parties.
3.2 Changes: The parking service reserves the right to adjust the cancellation policy. Customers will be informed of such changes in a timely manner.

 

4. Liability for Damage Caused by Natural Elements

4.1 The parking spaces provided by Taxi Walter Zaventem are outdoors. As a result, vehicles may be exposed to natural elements such as precipitation, wind, bird droppings, tree resin, falling leaves or seeds.
4.2 Taxi Walter Zaventem cannot be held liable for damage or contamination to vehicles caused by such natural elements. This applies to both visible and invisible damage (such as paint damage or contamination of windows).
4.3 Parking on the premises of Taxi Walter Zaventem is entirely at the user’s own risk. The customer remains responsible in all cases for cleaning or repairing the vehicle if necessary after exposure to environmental factors.
4.4 Only in the case of demonstrable negligence in the infrastructure or an obvious fault by Taxi Walter Zaventem can partial liability be considered, and only after written assessment.

 

5. Waiting Times

5.1 To ensure your taxi is ready on time upon arrival, we kindly ask you to respect the specified arrival time, as the taxi is reserved for you at that time.
5.2 If you cannot be present at the agreed time, please notify us at least 30 minutes in advance.
5.3 Without prior notice, or if you arrive 30 minutes or more later than the agreed time, we will charge a waiting time surcharge of €10 per started quarter hour.
5.4 This surcharge must be paid to the driver before departure. (This relates to parking the vehicle.)
5.5 Flight tracking and landing time
We track your flight live based on the flight number provided. However, you are required, when booking, to enter the actual landing time (local time). The fact that we track the flight does not release you from this obligation. If an incorrect or fictitious time is provided (e.g. entering 08:00 while the flight lands at 13:00), we cannot correctly link the flight; this may lead to waiting times.

By making a reservation, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions, including the privacy policy and the cancellation policy.
